What is in home care?

In-home care provides patients with one-on-one dedicated care from a trained caregiver in the comfort of his or her own home. With support from a caregiver, patients are able to receive both medical and non medical care at home independently and maintain their quality of life. The personal attention they receive vastly improves their safety, health and happiness.

What makes Teheca nurses special

We start by attracting and hiring the best, most experienced nurses in the area. We screen them with the assessments and confirm there academic background. But we don’t leave it at that. We even have a monthly newsletter that keeps all of our nurses up-to-date on the latest insights in the nursing industry

What is the difference between in home care and in home checkup

In home care is for patients in need of long term nursing care at home while in home checkup is designed for short care sessions between 1- 3 hours mostly for patients who need routine health checkups.

How do I join Teheca care team

For you looking to join Teheca care team, the first step is filling the expression of interest form here. When you have submitted your details, our care team lead will reach out for an interview and follow up.

How does Teheca work with nurses on the care team

Teheca does not provide employment for the nurses but work on need basis contract with the nurses. When a client requests for a nurse, our system assigns the best available nurse based on location and client needs.

What are the requirements to join Teheca care team

To join Teheca care team, you’re required to have a certificate from the Uganda nursing and midwives council and at least 2 referees

How do you supervise nurses on duty

You don’t just hire a nurse. You work with a full Care Team to ensure the highest standards of care are met. Before beginning the care team creates a schedule and a plan that covers all aspects of the appropriate care and go over it with the nurse including check in visit from the care team lead with the nurse and client

Do you have a service contract?

Yes, there is service contract that is signed at the beginning of each service that captures the duration of the care and details of the serivce offered.
